【As BLOG-kotaro】ライブ

Asでドラムを叩いておりますkotaroです。

こうたろうと読みます。

先日、Asの1st full album “BIRTH” が発売になりました。

もちろん音源も聴いて欲しいのですが、個人的にAsはライブバンドだと思っております。

特にドラムにおいては、その場のテンションで細かいフィルインやそもそものリズムパターンも大きく変わります。意図的と言われればそうかもしれませんが、自分でもよくわからないフレーズを入れてしまうことも。

二度と同じように演奏はできない、そんな臨場感と高揚感を是非ライブで感じ取っていただけたらと思います。

音源もいいけど、やっぱりライブだよね、ってなるバンドが私はとても好きなんです。

初めて観に行ったライブは中3の時だったでしょうか。
とあるイベントで、
THE BACK HORN、銀杏BOYZ、BUMP OF CHICKEN
というラインナップでした。

勝手がわからず、当時学校に持って行っていたエナメルバッグを足元に置き、1バンド目のTHE BACK HORNが始まると共に中に入っていたCDケースが粉々になりました。

ライブってこんななのかと。お客さんの熱量に圧倒され、アーティストの存在感に胸踊らされ、響き渡る爆音にいつまでも耳鳴りが止みませんでした。

それまでほぼ海外のハードロックしか聴いてこなかった私にはとても新鮮な体験でした。

今でも忘れないあの日の景色、感覚。

そんなライブが出来るように精進してまいりたいと思うところであります。

最後に、先ほどの3アーティストから銀杏BOYZの駆け抜けて性春という曲を紹介して終わります。
